The facade has been beautifully renovated and the terrace-cafe on the first floor gives a pleasant view towards the Marienplatz. The lobby is small with lovely polished marble floor, a small seating area opposite the reception and an enormous chandelier which seems kind of overwhelming. This hotel is a family owned property which was established in 1490. The personal touch of family Kirchlechner, owner since ca 100 years, can be found everywhere in the hotel and guests are very often greeted by the owner himself.
